Jeremy Healey – Co-Founder
Jeremy is a co-founder of DayMark and its affiliates. Since 2009, he has focused on moderate and middle-income housing, including investments in both single-family and multi-family properties. He brings over twenty years of experience in related fields, including principal transactions, real estate investments, structured asset investments and structured finance.
Jeremy is a graduate of both Georgetown University (B.A.) and the Wharton School (M.B.A.).
Michael Gough – Co-Founder
Michael is a co-founder of DayMark and its affiliates. Michael is primarily responsible for portfolio management. He has over twenty years of experience in sales and trading, proprietary investing, structured finance, alternative investments, debt capital markets, derivatives, real estate, and investment banking.
Michael is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Kevin O’Connor – Co-Founder
Kevin is a co-founder of DayMark and its affiliates. Kevin is primarily responsible for asset sourcing, asset marketing, and managing seller relationships. He has over 20 years of fixed income products sales and trading experience including mortgage- or real-estate-backed securities, auction rate securities and municipal securities.
Kevin is a graduate of Hartwick College with a B.A. in Management. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for The Adaptive Sports Foundation.
Jeff Anstis, Managing Director – Asset Management
Jeff is responsible for managing the due diligence, asset rehabilitation, and property preservation activities of the firm. Through a variety of well planned, and coordinated networks, his group assists with the purchase decision and manages the rehabilitation and maintenance of the asset. Prior to joining DayMark, he founded Professional Business Solutions, whose mission was to provide a variety of core services to small business owners, including bookkeeping, tax management, and consulting on the essentials of running a business, including structure, operations and tax management.
Jeff is a licensed MLO and a CFP, he has worked on a variety of single family and commercial projects.
Paul Klier, Managing Director – Finance
Paul leads the DayMark finance team and has an extensive background in financial reporting & analysis, regulatory compliance, budgeting/forecasting, auditing, and accounting policies & procedures. He has built and directed the infrastructure of an asset based lending company, including its off-shore operations. Additionally, he successfully conceptualized, built, and directed a six sigma team of twenty professionals for a university.
Paul has a Master’s of Administrative Science degree from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s of Accounting degree from Loyola University Maryland. He holds CPA licenses in Florida, Maryland, and Montana and real estate broker licenses in Florida and Alabama.
Bill Mazar, Managing Director – Asset Acquisition & Sales
Bill is primarily responsible for the asset acquisition and sales team at DayMark. He is a seasoned senior executive of the Homebuilding and Real Estate Industry. Before joining DayMark, Bill managed the acquisition, rehabilitation and marketing of the Jacksonville, FL market for a national single family home rental company. Bill is a FL licensed building contractor, roofing contractor and real estate broker.
Bill is a graduate of Penn State University.
Mark Peta, Managing Director – Originations and Servicing
Mark brings more than 25 years of residential mortgage lending experience to the DayMark Team. Having worked in both mortgage and consumer finance, he has an extensive knowledge of manual underwriting and the application of a common sense approach within the confines of the current regulatory environment. He has spent the majority of his career in third party mortgage originations managing work flows for both sales and operations in both wholesale and retail channels. Mr. Peta has extensive experience in strategic planning, managing projects, improving efficiencies of operations and team building, coupled with sales and marketing execution.
Mark received a B.A. from Ursinus College.
Danny Umstead, Director – Asset Acquisitions & Valuations
Danny is an accomplished real estate professional with more than 20 years of experience in real estate appraisal and management. As a Certified Real Estate Appraiser and the owner of an an appraisal company, he was responsible for overseeing daily operations, including developing the client base, managing workflow and valuations of residential real estate.
Danny is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in geography.
